Gjallarstadir Viking Market 2026: dates, tickets and how to get there
The Gjallarstadir Viking Market is held on the first weekend of September at the Nebbursvollen park in Lillestrøm, fifteen minutes by train from Oslo. Run by the Gjallarstadir Viking Society, it is the closest Viking market to Oslo and one of the last of the Norwegian season.

What happens
A weekend market in a riverside park: historical goods, crafts, music, games, a children’s treasure hunt and short talks. The society behind it is Lillestrøm’s own Viking group, and the market has grown into the main Viking event in the Oslo region outside Borre.
Getting there
Lillestrøm is eleven minutes from Oslo Central by train and thirty from Gardermoen Airport. Nebbursvollen is a fifteen-minute walk from the station along the river.
