Ale Viking Market 2027: dates, tickets and how to get there
Ale Viking Market opens the Swedish season on the first weekend of May at Ale Vikingagård, a reconstructed Viking farm in Nödinge, twenty-five minutes north of Gothenburg. Traders and reenactors from across Europe use it as the first stop of the year.

What happens
Ale Vikingagård is a reconstructed farm with a longhouse and outbuildings, run by a local association and open through the summer. The May market is the first of the Swedish season: travelling traders with jewellery, clothing, leather, ceramics and plant-dyed yarn, demonstrations, and combat competitions between reenactor groups.
Getting there
Nödinge is on the E45 and the Alependeln commuter line, twenty-five minutes north of Gothenburg. The farm is a short walk from Nödinge station. Parking is on site.
