Als Viking Market 2027: dates, tickets and how to get there
The Als Viking Market is held in mid-June at Kær Vestermark in Sønderborg, on the island of Als in southern Denmark, close to the German border. Around 300 Vikings recreate camp life, crafts, combat and storytelling in what the organizers call Denmark's largest non-commercial Viking market.

What happens
A volunteer-run market on the outskirts of Sønderborg with around 300 Vikings from Denmark and abroad: camp life, crafts, fighting and storytelling, no commercial stalls beyond the traders themselves. It is the natural Viking stop for visitors coming up from Germany.
Getting there
Sønderborg has a small airport and is two hours from Aarhus and just over two from Hamburg by car. Kær Vestermark is on the northern edge of town.
