Gudahagen Viking Market 2026: dates, tickets and how to get there
The Gudahagen Viking Market closes the Swedish season on the third weekend of September at Gudahagen, an Iron Age settlement site in Näsum, north-east Skåne, half an hour from Kristianstad. It is a well-established market with craftspeople from across Sweden and Europe and a staged battle.

What happens
Gudahagen is a settlement site with Iron Age house foundations in the woods above Näsum. The market fills it with craftspeople selling Viking Age work, a battle demonstration with period weapons, a children’s area and food. It is the last market of the Swedish year, and the traders who have been on the road since Ale in May end here.
Getting there
Näsum is thirty minutes from Kristianstad and just under two hours from Copenhagen by car via the Øresund Bridge and the E22. There is no practical public transport for the last stretch; parking is in fields by the site. Bring Swish or cash: cards are not accepted.
